The number of HIV infected individuals is increasing to a large extent and the need of the hour is to keep a check on the ever increasing HIV infection all over the world. Thus, in this case, HIV education becomes an important tool to control this epidemic. The main purpose of spreading HIV education is to eradicate the unawareness about the virus. The HIV education should be spread keeping in mind every member of the society be it the youth or the older generations.

HIV education can also be imparted to school students or college students with the help of various programmes which are conducted for the same. In these programmes students and the youth are taught how to protect themselves against the HIV infection and also the ways to treat any HIV infected individuals.

Thus, HIV education forms an important tool to spread the message that HIV can be only prevented and various means should be used for the same and also the fact that an HIV infected individual should be seen with respect and dignity.
